I think he had an 01, so he had 193 at the crank. In all reality, all stock v6's are slow as hell...0-60 times in the high 6's and 7's even more with autos, and 1/4 mile times in the very high 15's to 16's with autos...and I'm talking about 99-04 v6's, lol. I'm not going to mention the 94-98 single ports.
I've come to believe that no other vehicle has a bigger difference performance wise than the 99-04 manual and auto v6 mustangs. Same with the manual and auto GT's for those years. The autos are geared so horribly from the factory, it really kills the performance. That's why aggressive tunes are so key to auto cars.
Basically, you start modding a v6 effectively and you'll start to catch up to a GT...you start modding the GT and the v6 won't be able to catch up....same applies for GT's to Mach 1's, Mach 1's to termis...it's just the rungs on the ladder, unless you take drastic steps such as FI, and even then there's no guarantee.
