Hi. I bought a 2013 GT 3 weeks ago and I noticed the turn signal won't cancel after completing a turn? I assume most cars have this feature where after you complete a turn the blinker shuts off.

I have to manually shot off the turn signal after every turn I make.

Is this normal or is something wrong?

Whoops. What I meant to say was does the Turn Signal automatically turn off after you complete your turn.

I have to manually turn off the blinker after each turn.

My 02 Gt does the same exact thing. I don't drive it all the time but when I do sometimes I drive a mile or so with the blinker flashing after I made the turn and feel like a idiot. Funny thing is when I'm behind another car and it's blinker has been flashing for awhile I think to myself how can that guy not know his blinker has been flashing for the last 3 miles.. ha aaa haa.. Gonna look into it know.GL & welcome!

Welcome to the forum.....and as far as your blinkers --- that has been a standard feature on all cars since I started driving in the 60's. Most of those that I've seen have a mechanism inside the steering wheel with a little pin that moves the blinker back to off as the steering wheel moves to center. They are likely going to have to remove your steering wheel to get to it, but I'll bet it's an easy fix.

Thanks for the reply's and hospitality guys.

I figured something wasn't right. Never realized how much of minor hassle it is to manually turn off your blinker after each turn.

Gentlemen....thanks for all the replies. I can confirm it is the switch. I have the CarMax warranty and as soon as I get some time I will take it in for the necessary repair.
